I live in a remote location and the only shipping option available is USPS. Within the U.S. books are sent Media Mail, which has a tracking number and is pretty inexpensive. Please be aware that it can take up to 21 days once it is shipped to reach you. For books going to Canada or Europe, first class mail is the least expensive option, but there is no tracking number.
